Tough job but someone has to …
One of the perks of this job is that to get to meet great people in the internet industry and get asked to do some fun things. Like being a judge for the Australian Interactive Media Industry Association. Before cries of junketeering abound let me assure you that all the voting was done online and, while I do have a ticket for the awards night in Sydney, no one has offered to fund my trip. Probably a good time to remind you that your Membership Renewals should be in your inboxes this week – prompt payment is always appreciated.
Another wonderful thing I got to do this week was appear on RTE TV with the lovely Sheana on The Afternoon Show. The topic was cyberbullying and in my research for the show I came across a very good resource – Webwise.ie.
